The Supreme and The Queen

I use two honorifics. Sometimes three when I’m in My Mommy mood, but that’s not relevant right now. Supreme Queen Vee is My complete title, but of course I respond to them individually, too. I also enjoy variations of Queen, like Your Highness, Your Majesty, and My Superior. Makes sense, right? Cool. Let’s complicate it.

THE SUPREME

In this post I talked about resonating with the FemDom archetypes of The Queen and The Goddess. I used both of these honorifics for a while until I eventually traded Goddess for Supreme. I started to feel like Goddess was… basic? Sorry. But I mean that for less shallow reasons than you think. Obviously, with all of the religious and occult undertones My style has, Goddess seems very appropriate - and I won’t deny that. But as I learned more about African Traditional Religions (ATRs) and how deities work within them, the title stopped feeling authentic. It felt… too white. The “Gods” in My culture and practice are called Orisha. In Voodoo and Vodu, they’re called Lwas. Common features of ATRs include veneration of the dead (ancestors), service to secondary, nature or elemental spirits (Orishas, Lwas, etc), and the existence of a Supreme creator - one that is everywhere, all the time, all at once. I take quite a bit of inspiration from cult psychology as well (Christianity is a cult. Discuss.), and the title Supreme is also sometimes used to identify the leader. The more I play and develop My personal brand of domination, the more I see that these honorifics lend to different attitudes - alter-egos. Supreme Vee is the succubus. She’s the one who invades your mind, comsumes your thoughts, and turns you into nothing but a vessel of Her divine will. She breaks you down without laying a finger on you. She claims your cock, your clit and your soul before you even have the chance to resist. She’s manipulative, elusive and sensual. Kinks like erotic hypnosis, gooning, tease and denial, cuckolding, and conditioning are Supreme’s domain.

THE QUEEN

Queen Vee is closer to your classic dominatrix. Again using The Mistress Manual as a reference, The Queen archetype features regality, arrogance, attention to detail, a focus on fashion and aesthetics, high protocol, and domestic service. Kinks and types of play commonly associated with this archetype include feminization / sissy training, behavior modification, rules, and micromanagement. Queen Vee administers (or perhaps instructs another to) your painful punishments and whips you into shape with a sharp tongue. She has the skills to transform you into the perfect sissy maid, the eager and obedient puppy or the porcelain doll. She demands respect, formality and undying devotion. All you do must be in service to The Queen.

Many feel that choosing a specific honorific - and being as strict about them as I am - can limit the range of expression, and I understand how that could be the case for some. A drama queen at heart, however, honorifics feel more like fancy hats, not boxes. For me, it’s fun to take aspects of my personality to the extreme and create different personas inspired by them, even outside of a traditional roleplay scene - we even call our playtime “scenes”! (I’ll never stop with the BDSM-theatre comparisons) Another fun, interesting thing about having “alter-egos” with specific honorifics is seeing which one a submissive decides to use, and how that reflects their interests. How would you approach? “Good morning, Supreme”, “Hello, my Queen” or “Hi, Mommy”?

Every day, I learn a little more about what makes Supreme Queen Vee who She is, and I hope it inspires you to more deeply consider the basic principles of your journey in domination or submission.
